About Kennedy Productions, Inc. – Event Founders, Reese and Joanne Kennedy, shared a love of DIY home improvement. After purchasing an English Tudor in Glen Ellyn, this young couple began rehabbing, renovating and remodeling to update their living space. The hobby grew into a small business in 1977 when the Kennedys hosted their first home show. Since then, the event has grown steadily and in 1984 became The Old House New House Home Show. Today, this event is the market-leading consumer home show in the Chicago area.
